Kind of quiet on KLUG

I have switched to Linux Mint 7 when my Ubuntu got messed up by me. I was thinking why go through the hassle of setting up Ubuntu again when the 9.10 release is so close so I thought I would try Mint 7. I have found Mint 7 easy to install and all the video and audio are pre-installed. I would suggest anyone looking to switch someone from Windows to Linux use Linux Mint. The common user will find it easy to learn and use.

In addition to playing around with Mint 7 I am also trying the beta version of Ubuntu 9.10. So far it has been pretty stable for a beta version and it looks like it will be another great Ubuntu update.

I would sure like to see a little more discussion and participation in the KLUG. Of course that is easy for me as I am now retired. As for meetings I would like to see some half way between Racine and Kenosha because the south side of Kenosha is a long drive for me.
