An Introduction to me.

I am fairly new to linux. I started off and on with Ubuntu 7.04. Since then I found linux to be getting better with each new release. Most of my time is spent in Ubuntu 9.04 even though my machine is set up to dual boot with windows xp. If it weren't for my wife I could easily go 100% linux.

I have set up one friend with Ubuntu after his windows 98 Dell became infested with more viruses then you can imagine. He made the switch to a full time ubuntu user and has never been happier.

I have also gotten my two sons to take a look at Ubuntu and they are split on linux. The elder one tells me he will never buy another copy of windows while the younger son swears by windows because of all the games he plays. The eldest son is a MSOE grad in electronics and more computer oriented and has tried networking and a number of different distros.

As for me i have messed with using computers since the apple II first came out. I am by no means an expert at anything computer related but I still do like messing around with them.
