Hi Chad, my name is Brian Hrpcek. I am a student of computer science at UW-Parkside and an avid user of linux. My friends and I from the university were toying with the idea of starting a LUG but helping start one is cool too. Besides myself I know several guys who would be interested in joining and helping out. So if you could contact me or post some info that would be great. Also being a Parkside student it shouldnt be a problem to secure a meeting place at the University.

I've used a few other drupal sites before and on most of those sites, each member has the ability to "create their own blog" within their login space. Within this site, I don't seem to be have the ability to do much of anything. I was just about to post a topic in the forum but I can't even seem to be able to do that.
Bottom line, this site needs to be less restrictive. There are a number of other areas where there are similar issues. I should not need to have anything moderated.
